Class and Statutory regulations

The maritime and offshore industry is subject to comprehensive sets of regulations (e.g. Flag, Port and Coastal State) and Classification Societies under IMO and IACS.

International certificates associated with these may be:

- Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)

- Mobile Drilling Unit Certificate (MODU-Code)

- Load Line Certificate

- Tonnage Certificate

- Classification Certificates (from ABS, BV, DNV, LR etc)

Having worked within or towards such bodies since 1998 wide support can be provided for various activities such as:

- Initial design

- Documentation requirements

- Interpretation of rules and regulations

- Technical support in arbitrations and court cases

- Planning of flag and class related surveys
